Envirotech offers the Joy Parr Envirotech Travel Award twice each year. One travel award is given for travel to the conference of the Society for the History of Technology (SHOT), usually held in the fall, and one for travel to the conference of the American Society for Environmental History (ASEH), usually held in the spring.

Envirotech also awards an article prize, the Joel A. Tarr Envirotech Article Prize, which is given out roughly every year and a half, alternating between meetings of SHOT and ASEH.
